Know Who We Are

The five attorneys of the DiFrancesco Bateman Crime Victim Civil Litigation Practice Group work as a team in representing each of our clients. There is a minimum of three attorneys working on each case so that each client receives the maximum attention. We have established what we call the "Holistic Approach" to serving each client. That is to say, we attempt to address the various needs of our client and we utilize the experience of each of us to focus on our client's individual needs.

Nicholas F. Pompelio, Esq.

Nicholas PompelioNicholas Pompelio is admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of New Jersey. Nicholas also successfully passed the New York Bar exam and is pending admittance to the Bar of the State of New York.

Nicholas is a 2004 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2008, he earned his degree of Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law located in Boston, Massachusetts, wherein he received numerous academic awards and was named to the New England Law Review. Following graduation from law school Nicholas served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C. at the Morris County Superior Court wherein he assisted several Superior Court judges and conducted mediations in the areas of juvenile, family, and civil law.

Nicholas concentrates his efforts on complex crime victim civil litigation cases including wrongful death, drunk driving, sexual assault and third party lawsuits involving bars and taverns, police brutality and nursing home malpractice. His knowledge of victims’ rights and the civil remedies available to crime victims has enabled him to assist his clients in securing considerable financial recoveries in their claims for damages.
